Fite Building Company is proud to be part of the Big Spring Park East Expansion for the City of Huntsville, now underway in the heart of downtown Huntsville.

This transformative project encompasses a 2.4-acre expansion of Big Spring Park East, located on the former City Hall site. Designed to enhance community connection and accessibility, the park will feature a new pavilion with a landscaped green roof, a rustic-themed playground, terraced seating, and accessible, winding walking paths that invite visitors to explore and gather. The project also includes thoughtfully integrated park amenities such as custom art features, seat walls and benches, a restroom accessory building, water fountain, Church Street improvements, and extensive landscaping and irrigation.

Spanning approximately 173,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, the Big Spring Park East Expansion will further elevate one of Huntsville’s most iconic public spaces while creating a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.
