Fite Building Company is proud to be selected as the general contractor for Gregory Industries new G-STRUT manufacturing line in Limestone County and the City of Athens. The 90,000 square foot facility is the first of three building phases planned for the Athens location in Elm Industrial park. Gregory Industries is an Ohio based company operating for more than 125 years and five generations.
The ground breaking ceremony took place Thursday morning. Mayor Marks spoke at the ground breaking ceremony saying, “This is a $30-million investment in our city with 100 jobs.” Members from the Alabama Department of Commerce, Limestone County Economic Development Association, the Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor of Athens, Ronnie Marks were in attendance.
