We are honored to have received an Excellence in Construction Award for the Ardent Preschool and Daycare project at the Associated Builders and Contractors of North Alabama 20th annual Excellence in Construction Awards.

Ardent Preschool & Daycare located at Clift Farms of Madison, AL, was built to service the growing need of child care facilities in the area. The 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility features 18 high-tech classrooms to suit an age range from six weeks to six years old. The facility also includes a courtyard, a 2,500 square foot splash pad, and secured indoor and outdoor areas with abundant natural lighting. Amid all the fun and extravagant elements included in this building design, there is also plenty of space included for administration offices, a break room, storage closets, employee restrooms, and commercial grade kitchen.

A unique design with specialized security features created a challenging project that required a high attention to detail. During pre-construction, Fite Building Company took an extensive amount of time to review cost savings while keeping in mind the best interest of the owner. During construction we faced supply chain issues still lingering from the pandemic, but after working closely with local partners, we found viable solutions while staying on schedule. Despite these challenges, Fite was able to deliver a quality product within budget and on time that the entire project team is proud of.
