About This Project

Fite Building Company is serving as the general contractor for the addition and renovation of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville, Alabama. The project includes 1,484 square feet of new construction and 3,829 square feet of renovated space across the church campus.

The scope of work involves renovating existing areas and adding two new elevators to improve accessibility in both the Ridley Hall and Joffrion Buildings. Fite will self-perform the excavation, concrete, doors, hardware, and accessories installation scopes. The construction features metal stud framing, CMU, brick, and structural steel components.

The renovations to the Joffrion and Ridley Buildings will bring both facilities into full ADA compliance, with new elevators, renovated restrooms, and an enclosed courtyard. Additional site improvements include a new carport drive entry, upgraded finishes in auxiliary spaces connecting the two buildings, and minor renovations to the Sanctuary Chancel, Altar Guild, and Flower Guild areas.
