About This Project

Fite Building Company is proud to serve as the general contractor for the new Arab Recreation Center, a dynamic 38,000-square-foot facility designed to elevate recreational opportunities for the City of Arab and its surrounding communities.

The centerpiece of the facility is a 26,800-square-foot sports floor, capable of hosting four full-size competition courts for basketball, volleyball, and additional athletic programming. Each court is equipped with bleachers and divider curtains to maximize flexibility and accommodate simultaneous events.

In addition to athletic spaces, the center will house modern locker rooms, a concession stand, a multipurpose room, meeting areas, and office space for the Arab Parks and Recreation Department.

The project is being delivered in partnership with Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC), providing architectural, civil, electrical, and landscape services. This facility supports the City of Arab’s commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive community through quality infrastructure and recreation.
