About This Project

The new Elmore County Jail will be a two-story, 107,000-square-foot facility designed to house 480 beds, along with administrative and operational support spaces. The facility will feature a conventional structural steel system and will be delivered under a single bid package through two phases of construction.

Phase One will include the construction of the first 240 beds and the facility’s primary support spaces. Phase Two will add the remaining 240 beds and include the demolition of the existing jail. Associated site work will be completed throughout both phases of the project.
