About This Project

Located adjacent to the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) campus, Nexus on Holmes is a new four-story, 239,000-square-foot student housing community designed to serve upper-division undergraduates, graduate students, university faculty, staff, and other residents. The 249 fully furnished units include a mix of one-, two-, and four-bedroom floorplans, each with private bathrooms. Thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor amenities create a vibrant residential experience, including two landscaped courtyards, an outdoor pool with BBQ grilling area, a community kitchen, TV lounge, multi-purpose room, and quiet study lounges. Surface parking is provided on adjacent lots leased from UAH.

Nexus on Holmes was co-developed by Capstone Development Partners of Birmingham, AL, and Boaz Ventures of Huntsville, AL, with OPAL Investments—the for-profit subsidiary of Opportunity Alabama—serving as the lead equity investor. The project’s location within a designated opportunity zone further underscores its role as a strategic investment in Huntsville’s growing academic and residential community.
